Bullhead City Rotary Park — Attraction in Bullhead City

Rotary Park is flipping Awesome...its well taken care of and if your like me and come from a place where you see a lot of green grass smd miss it.. Then come down to the park....they have something for everyone.. An enclosed dog park too to bring your dog too.. A skateboard park too. Looks to me like the expanded it on the outside..a bit. ..fishing even a little pier boat launch picnic tables Oh by the way if your gonna have a party and need to make sure you get a table.. Check with the city to have them secure it for you before the park gets filled cause of course the good spots get grabbed cause everyone else has the same idea as you.. They have frisbee golf huge grass fields all the sports even tennis courts and basketball courts for ever. They even have a special area marked out for remote control air planes... Crazy everytime i go there on my bicycle i see something new They have beautiful cement around the whole thing so you can walk around the entire park if you need exercise......you will always hear amd see birds smd wildlife scurrying about Plus it is noticeably cooler down by the river about 5 degrees easy. The park is blessed Give it a go. Get your butt up and make it happen..... The river atmosphere will bless you.. Just dont step off course.. Keep to the right course.. I mean in life.and you will be fine.. The same river that gives life can take it.. It almost drowned me once.. But i prayed to God i had to pray twice as the river got a hold on me and would not let go and i was wore out.... But after the second prayer it released me.. Be careful in the water..

Even swimming from now on I will wear a life jacket.. That was scary So be careful...

Nice park, steps from the river, 2 dog parks, 1 for big dogs, 1 for small. I have small. All the dogs in the small side get along, there is a small group of daily regulars. At 1st they seem kinda snobby, but after they see u a couple of times, they open up and let their gaurd down. There are chairs they have purchased and brought in for all to use, make sure to put them back away and dont leave on the grass, or u will catch an ear ful. And pick up ur dog poop, be responsible and curtious for us all. Been going for 3 months now, never seen a single dog fight in the small dog side, there is also a water fountain to put ur dogs in to cool off. Parks also has softball fields, to launches to launch water craft from, football fields and soccer fields and basketball courts too, all outdoors, and of course the colorado river is literally steps away, with sandy beaches along the water . Beware of fire ants, they are everywhere, stand on top of a mound for a few seconds, u will get bit, watch your dogs where they stop and sit or lay down so they dont...

I have lived in Mohave county for 12 years now, my mother is the manager of parks and recreation where I am from, it made me very homesick, she ran concessions and employed most of the local kids for their first job ever kinda thing, she was loved by everyone, through the whole state everyone knew my mom because of the games and they remembered her. I expect a lot from a city park because of her....on the non homesick side my red nose pitbull of 120 lbs loves to plow through the water at anytime. if we say Louie wanna go to the park and put his leash on , he turns into a 9600 John Deere tractor and when it is time to go home he will go as far as he can and sit in the water and will not budge till we walk into the waste high water to collar drag him all the way to the police substation. Needless to say Louies house absolutely loves bullhead city park "rotory park " , az, ......funny it's devil's lake city park and recreation "Ruger park" .....love the...
