Very neat place to visit. The water was a little low, so it was only flowing over one tiny portion of the rocks. Still plenty of cool refreshing water to swim and play in at the bottom though. In the deepest parts it was between waist and shoulder deep to an adult. Had fun climbing on the rocks, and there was a small natural water slide that the kids enjoyed. Great place to take younger kids, just make sure you keep an eye on them. Slipping and falling on the rocks hurts.

Parking lot was crowded and fairly small, so people were parked on the sides of the road coming down. Went on a weekend, I expect its much calmer during the week. Easily accessible in any vehicle. Gravel road is well maintained. They have vault toilets that are pretty clean. Short path to the creek is shaded and has several tables and grills, so it would be a good...

Absolutely beautiful place. We've been here in Spring and Fall. Not busy either time. I would think Summer would be really busy. The falls are wonderful, great after a rain. There is a nice viewing bench at the base, but only one so if your coming just to relax and view the falls, I recommend bringing your own chair just in case. There is nice hiking up the hill by the falls. It is a steep incline but beautiful rocks and ferns to explore. Please note that both times I came the bathroom was horrible. It's a typical porta potty type bathroom but smells extremely bad compared to similar bathrooms I've used. Hopefully they've cleaned out since. Swimming would be run here but not with a toddler. Rocks can...

Honestly shocked at how many people were there swimming in the pool below the falls, if you'd call them that. I've been to many NP & NPS sites and cannot believe they allow folks to set up chairs in the water and shade tents in the rock beach and drink and party. Just very different for a NPS site. Absolutely disappointed after seeing such beautiful pictures of this waterfall and making the drive out there to find cars and side by sides everywhere and people and pets and tents and chairs in the water and booze and food. It's was just a terrible experience. Maybe try it again in the early spring or fall? Just WILD! Should be called Rocky Falls Party Pool after...
