Me & my family stayed at this resort for one week. It was not a great experience like I was expecting it to be. I was charged more than I was supposed to be. I verified the amount multiple times over the phone & in person. I was still over charged. The manager was rude, lacking common customer service. The ONLY nice staff members where the 3 front desk workers I interacted with either in person or over the phone, the base lodge lesson staff, kitchen staff, and the staff in the ski/snowboard repair hut. Everyone else needs a course in customer service, especially the managers. The base mountain where you buy tickets, lied to me over the phone in what I was purchasing. When I went in person to pick up what I thought I bought, and was given something different, nothing was done to help me, not even an apology for there own employees mistake. The voucher breakfast was terrible & the same thing everyday, not worth it. My family stayed in a two rooms that where connected. They where nice at first glance. The water was not hot enough, I tried multiple times at different times, the water pressure was lacking, tried multiple settings, the dishes where not cleaned properly, the bathroom flooded after every shower. One of the chairs was broke, my brother sat in it and almost fell. He could have hurt himself. I did tell the front desk, during one of the nice interactions, they apologized & replaced the chair. My family got a third room that was not connected. It was a two twin bed room. Those beds where uncomfortable, the extra blanket in the closet had visible stains, same shower issues. For a hotel that has you pay 350 a night, and more, should have all this under control. The bad customer service, the lies, the unhelpful managers, ruined my families trip. Two stars in me being generous. We will not be returning...

I’ve been skiing at Burke for three years now. As someone who isn’t a pro at skiing, I love this mountain. There are a couple of negatives, but first what I love.

The mountain is easy to navigate, with just two lifts, a magic carpet, a T-Bar, and J-Bar. Trails are clearly marked, and mapped out.

All that staff I have dealt with are very friendly, and the ski coaches are great. Anyone in the Ski-Patrol/ medic group there are amazing, and very understanding.

I’ve never had a problem with the lifts being shut down, as some other comments mentioned.

A couple of negatives. The food, like any other ski mountain, will basically break the bank if you know what I mean. It’s to be expected, but the food is NOT worth the price.

The bathrooms at the mid-Burke lodge are deplorable. Guessing not too many people go there because the hotel is right there, but I was shocked to see how disgusting they were.

Overall, it’s a great place for families and avid skiers, but also...

I am a local i went skiing yesterday sunday the 19th of january i had to rent my skiis and boots 35$ also payed for half day of skiing 65$ we tock the two lifts all the way to the top about 1-4 of the way down my feet were in so much pain because my boots were so tight i had to take them all the way off and sit on the side of the mt for 15 mins i slowly made it down to the mid lodge then finaly made it to base lodge to try and get bigger boots. When i went in there they told me all the boots are the same size and that there was nothing the could do. So Oveously there was no way i could skii like that as i bairley made it down the mt. Not impressed that i spent 100$ for one run down the mt. They oveously need a better options or something because my feet are not oddly shaped...

Came here for the first time on their closing day/eclipse party and have to say, I’m a big fan of this mountain. It’s east coast skiing for sure but the mountain carries this relaxed and friendly atmosphere to it that you just don’t see that often anymore. Skiing closing day was slushy and warm but that’s to be expected; and I was still happy to hop around and explore. I don’t think any east coast mountain will ever compare to the west but Burke is high on the charts for me for one of my favorite east coast ski areas.

Burke is our happiest place ❤️ amazing skiing for this who like a challenge hut it also offers beginner terrain on the lower half. Small enough to let the kiddos roam free but as large as you want to make it with never ending tree trails, fun rollercoaster kid runs and friends all over the place. Like any small mountain we have some quirks but the community, fun, safety and killer skiing makes it the best around! (Oh and you will have more runs by 10am than you have all day at "the bigger mountains"
