Currently visiting the area for the next few months with my fiancée who is a travel nurse. Started to take our dog here regularly for walks until someone broke our car window for no reason(we leave nothing in it) while we were out on the trail. Not a safe area, save your money and look elsewhere. Side note- due to supply chain issues the OEM no longer makes this window for our car, turning this into an even bigger headache than just an insurance claim.

Many, many flat gravel trails around the airport and one beyond toward FarmToMarket Rd.! Most are along quiet roads, yet overall it's a little bit boring... ...just pick a starting point and park in any business parking lot. It was good to find a sunny place, but the winter wind was harsh !!

Took the pup to train on a new trail. Glass in the lot - take your valuables. The trails are clean, well maintained, beautiful wetland area. Great for dogs on leashes (lots of wildlife so please respect that). There is also a free library at the parking lot

What a nice easy stroll these trails are. They are all flat and well maintained... mostly gravel...trails or paths. They are adjacent to the Skagit airport, so sometimes you get to see airplanes take off and land. The trails on the south side of the airport also have some wetlands in them, so it's not uncommon to see waterfowl there. You almost always see rabbits in the evening. In one 5-mile walk, I saw 26 rabbits! It's a very easy walk with no elevation change, so it's a great place to bring kids. They also have some gym equipment along the way for doing pull ups and sit ups and that sort of thing. If you're looking for a way to get some fresh air and don't have a lot of time, you can make it around this 2.4 mile loop in about 30 minutes if you are a brisk walker. The south trail also goes right by the Heritage Flight Museum. There are dog baggie stations, so the area is dog friendly. There are usually folks walking it as this is a popular location. Give it a try. You'll like it I...

Well maintained trail with a cute series of stories any kid will love. My brother did and it's great to get kids involved in nature. The scenery is very pretty this time of the year. The only thing i didn't like about it is that the local airport can produce some unwanted noise to break immersion in the scenery. Other than that...
