This is my first time at the Skagit River Sports Complex/Park in Burlington. My son's football team had their first playoff game here. We had a great time(even if we didn't win). I'd like to check out the trail alongside the river next time and maybe have a picnic in the grass somewhere or at one of the many picnic tables provided. I would definitely go back sometime and bring the whole family. Maybe on the next visit we'll have some time to explore more of the park? I'm glad I was able to fly my drone, though. And the view is...

The place is huge which is a plus and minus. You have to plan and know what field you're playing on in order to park correctly otherwise you'll be walking for at least a half mile in some cases. The parking is insufficient when they have tournaments or on busy weekends. Although they do have parking attendants directing traffic when it's a super busy. Just be prepared for a long walk and a frustrating long wait to get out once the game is over. Traffic is terrible getting out of there. The fields are always well...

It's a wide open park. Its down on the river and people are always walking the dike. It's beautiful, has horseshoe pits, a lot of them, an rc track for the zoom zoom cars, and the dog area is big enough for 2 49'ers teams. It can be a little breezy down there so bring along a jacket. There are restrooms that are open and picnic tables under a canopy. Gets ya out of the sun when it's shinning and the rain when that's coming down too. Nick doesn't really like it to much but you know what they say...

This place is enormous (80 acres)!!! 30 fields, 8 baseball diamonds and enough parking for 1M people. Clean park facilities and a nice little playground round out the complex. The big beautiful oak tree in the centre provides shade in between games. The grass is well kept as are the other amenities. We really enjoyed our visit during the Spring Reign ultimate tournament. Congrats to Burlington Parks for keeping this complex looking great.

Great walk along the river Duke, especially as the sun sets. Great for biking too. Summer you can get down to the sand bar and do some swimming or fishing. Spectacular views for being inside the city. The park itself hosts big sporting events on weekends with some even camping. They do lock the gate at night so be aware of this. Nice picnic area with facilities.

I know it has the kids stuff @ one end, but I like to go and lay in the back corner and read undisturbed for the afternoon on a nice day! And then go for a walk over the ridge along the bend in the river....
