The Good: pujas are done on the days of durga puja, msintaining the timings in india. Most bengalis are thrilled with it. They give free bhog as well, which is not found anywhere else. The pujas used to have a feeling of great devotion, sadly because of the points below it is no longer the case. The bad: pushpanjali used to be anyone, and donations were at the discretion of the devotee, now the pushpanjali is no longer free and they charge 21 per pushpanjali. I wpuld rather pay for the bhog than pay to give pushpanjali, but at least they are not charging an entry fee to see the Goddess. If you have little kids it is best not to come during the crowded hours as i fear it is a genuibe fire hazard, and during pujas the temple volunteers dont like kids running around, which is kind of difficult because thats what kids do, so stay aeay if you have litle children The ugly: the sponsorers act like owners of the temple, and they double up as volunteers, one of them in particular is extremely rude, it is best not to go to the temple while they are around. I started coming here about a year and a half ago, a total newbie to Hindu temple worship. I found the the place to be very peaceful and welcoming, and the temple manager is a lways good about explaining what and what not to do around the temple without being harsh or embarassing me. With so many Westerners embracing Hinduism and not being familiar with temple etiquette, I find people to be very compassionate and understanding. Some of the volunteers during the big festivals can be a bit sharp, but you get that anywhere. I haven't seen anything like the swami-sanctioned bullying I experienced in another Hindu community...

Very relaxing Temple with nice Panditji taking care of each individual puna. Awesome arati of Kali thakur. Durga puja with dus bhuja idol in house. Authentic Khichudi prasad sev on astami. Best place for Car puja , they do chandi awahanam as it is Machine which has our lofe, give a kali thukur decorations for the car. Very gentle management. Shri Jagannath, chinnamastak kali, shyama kali, bhadra kali, kalighater kali, tarapiter kali, Bada thakur....and many more are worshipped. It is a hidden gem. Purity is in the air. Aatma shanti...
