I stayed one night here in a business trip to Butte. I booked online for under $90/night. I have to say I was impressed with the quality of the room for the price! And two queen beds at that. Everything was very clean and orderly. The TV in the room was good size, decent quality, and actually worked! Wifi connectivity was very good - I actually did some remote work with my company's VPN and had zero issues. One thing I loved was how high the water pressure in the shower was. I say that while admitting it also created my one and only complaint. The drain in the shower tub could not keep up. And whomever last used or cleaned the shower had the shower head pointed all the way across the shower. So when I turned it on you might as well have been spraying a high pressure hose at the wall. Thankfully I'm intelligent enough to close the shower curtain before I turn on showers or the bathroom would have been a mess. My favorite thing about my stay, as seen in the photo, was the ability to order dinner to my room from the adjoining Rib & Chop House and the simplicity of it simply being charged to my room bill. When I asked for a "healthy portion of broccoli" I didn't expect an entire 12" dinner plate of broccoli. But, as a broccoli fan I was thrilled. And I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it. The Ribeye was cooked perfectly medium rare as requested but that broccoli stole the show! The Caesar salad on the other hand had so much parmesan it kind of ruined it. I did not partake of their gym, pool, or hot tub so I cannot review those.

We stayed here on the way home to Spokane from Vegas. Honestly, I was not expecting much. It had good reviews but it's still a Choice branded hotel which can be either hit or miss - usually they're decent but not much to write home about. And when they're bad, they're awful. However, this place was a very pleasant surprise. The rooms were not huge but decent sized. The bathroom though - it's great. Nice sized. The shower is the best part though. It has the normal shower head.... Plus a rain head! I was not expecting that. I am hoping each room has that type of shower because it's a reason to come here and stay. The bed was even pretty good. Not great but so much better than most hotels we stay at. Most hotels have a firm bed that hurts me. With arthritis in my hips and back a good bed is worth paying more and I didn't wake up hurting this morning. The breakfast was even really good. Again, I was not expecting very much here - every breakfast I've had at a Choice hotel has been disappointing. I walked into their breakfast area and was very happy to see a nice buffet. Fruits, donuts, two types of sausage, ham, potatoes. Scrambled eggs and a cheesy omlette thing. They had juices, milk and chocolate milk. Waffles, oatmeal and cereal cups. Overall, the best breakfast I've had at a hotel this trip - one of the best in general if I'm being honest. And we stay at various hotels throughout the year. We will definently stay here again in the future whenever we need a place to stay on the way thru.

Super friendly and helpful staff, super clean rooms. The staff was very helpful during our late night check in, and even tried their best to be helpful when my 4yo catapulted off of one beautifully made, crisp queen size bed - towards another queen size bed - aaaaand failed. Hard. Landed on his face on the edge of the nightstand. Blood everywhere. Lost two teeth. (5 stars for Butte Family Dental and their help as well). But the ultra fluffy pillows and blankets, I tell no lie, helped soothe him to sleep like some voodoo sorcery, and I was so grateful for that because 15+hours driving my YOUNG, WILD children was already stressful enough, let alone the idea of doing it with no sleep. Thankfully, there was sleep! Because of the fluffiness. The shower was cool, no curtain, open layout style....and lots of towels. Everything so crisply white. OH and their free soap and lotion didn't smell horrible. For anyone who wanted that info.

This is my absolute favorite hotel that I look forward to staying at multiple times a year with my dogs, but after this experience I am so disappointed.||I had a $500 charge on my credit card from this hotel the day after my stay, so I called the front desk to see why, I was told that there was "significant damage because of my dogs." ||My dogs have traveled to many hotels with me, including the Copper King multiple times, and have never touched anything. They have toys in the room, and sleep on top of the bed.|I was only in the room from my arrival at 8:30pm until my early departure at 3:30am, and was up sick throughout most the night from the Chicken Fried steak at the Rib & Chop House.|Not to mention the 3 hours of continuous barking from the two dogs that were left unattended in the room next to us! ||I asked the front desk to send me photos of the significant damage to make sure they had the right room. After viewing the photos I discovered all the items below were already in the room upon time of arrival, and the total value of damage could not be more than $50 total:|chewing on an office chair|tear in the curtains |*chewed ottoman||The chair in the corner was sitting on top of the curtain when I entered the room, and as we sat our suitcase on the chair moved it and noticed a small rip. |My dog kept sniffing under the ottoman so I got on my hands and knees and noticed the all the ripping of the ottoman lining. |The desk chair was sitting 2 feet from the desk when I entered the room, and had one arm rest up, and there was noticeable chewing on one wheel.|Also there were several brown stains on the white comforters upon arrival that I did not complain about. ||This is all previous damage, that I would expect and not question from a dog friendly room! I unfortunately have no way of proving myself, and $500 is an extreme amount of money for me. I believe I deserve a chance to defend myself when I can 100% say this damage was in the room when I entered. I understand I signed a pet policy upon arrival, but I also did not get to see the room before signing off on this.||Also after looking closer at the photos it's very obvious that the teeth marks on the chair are way too small, pointy and sharp to have been...

For the last two years we have taken our kiddos to the copper king for their birthdays. We have let them pick 3 friends to stay the night and my husband or myself have stayed the night with them. We have never allowed more than that to stay and have always respected and followed the policies if copper king. We booked our sons bday there today and allowed him to pick 3 friends to come we ordered pizza and cake. Another guest there had over 8 kids playing in the pool for a party. We had just got checked in and my sons friends were calling telling me the manager was screaming at them and told them to leave the establishment as they were not allowed to be there if they weren’t guests. He was cussing parents out threatening to call the cops and I was trying to explain to him that we just have a few kids staying the night we were not with the big party. My kids were crying, I was shaking I was so upset. The police came and even they said they bring their kids there for birthdays all the time but we just needed to listen. The manager said we needed to leave and we would not be getting a refund! I again explained we were not with that party. He ruined my sons 9th birthday. I booked two more dates for my other two kiddos birthday and he told me I would not be refunded for those dates either!!! This is not good business and I am filling a civil suit and have already been in contact with my lawyer. He had adults and children crying and was totally out of line!! I hope this is not who you want representing your company. I am reaching out to all news channels and posting everywhere I can think of. I’m sorry that this is how your business was represented as a business owner myself here in butte I’d be embarrassed if my company was ever represented...

Drove over 8 hours and arrived around 7pm. No one was at the front desk. While waiting in the hallway, a restaurant staff briefly stated the receptionist should be back soon. When the restaurant staff came by us again later, (delivering drinks to a party down the hall) she stated she wished she could help us, but couldn't. Shortly after Carly aka Karen, came to the front. Very abrupt, stating she was only gone for about 5 minutes. She asked what's your name, I gave it, told me to sign for the room, I did, she was being very curt and disrespectful. Then she rudely stated "For future reference, the restaurant staff cannot help you as they are not part of this business". She was being very discourteous. We just wanted to get our key and go to the room after a long 500 mile drive. My husband responded very calmly to her statement, " For future reference, we didn't ask the restaurant staff for assistance ". The restaurant staff had interacted with us as they passed us numerous times by the front desk. She then kicked us out! She stated that we had to leave or she would call the police. She stated this numerous times. I stated that the reservation was made and paid for. She got extremely loud and was screaming "GET OUT NOW OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE". She picked up the phone and stated she was going to call the police. We felt like she was discriminating against us as we are in our 60"s, and had no where to go or to be subjected to her insults. Unbelievable. I was shaking when we left, not something we have ever dealt with before. We left and checked into the Marriott. I hope the owners of this establishment have video of this and she gets fired. I would not allow her to represent...
