For anyone who wishes to approach Our Lady of the Rockies, you are trespassing on private owners prescious land, and this man I encountered made sure to spit in front of my car and inform me that if I were to view Our Lady up close and personal, I was to go to the mall and take a bus. There is a sign, on a building for a station KXLF stating the road is private & no trespassing, but I called and was informed that I could proceed up the road, they would not prosecute, but the private landowners up there were the ones I was to look out for. Not to far up the road, after my permission from KXLF, was where I met a really old man on a huge piece of equipment who gave me a look to kill & spit in front of my car. WWJD?? I AM now pondering this ...🤔.

We did not realize that we needed to go at certain times to see this and go to the gift shop to take a bus up there. I wish they put up signs explaining this because we went around searching for a way to get up there after seeing a post about it on Montana tourism website. They just put a sign saying google is wrong turn around, instead put a post saying go to the gift shop or timings for the tour. On the other side saying no statue access.

The diesel bus trip up the mountain on a 7-mile dirt road that is very narrow, curvey and bumpy was not fun for me. I tried to look only at hubby & phone and not down the steep hillsides. However, Mark is an excellent driver! Dress warm as you reach @8500 feet elevation. Despite poor weather, the 90-foot statute is worth the view inside the base & out. Wonderful community effort and preserved history:)

My six year old son wanted to visit Mary on our annual mom/son weekend. When we scheduled and paid for our tour (about 5 days prior) we were told there were only 4 other people on the tour. A few hours before the tour (and after we already drove over from Bozeman), we got a call that the tour was oversold by one ticket and they had to cancel our reservation. This was very disappointing and frustrating. We were clearly pushed out by a larger group that brought in more money. For a tour to see Mother Mary, you would expect the staff to uphold certain values. In this case, money was more important than doing what was right. I am giving them 3 stars because I have been on this tour before and it was very nice, but I hope they take this review into consideration when canceling last minute on someone who had a...

Our Lady is magnificent, but Vicki in the gift shop made the whole experience dismal. She was all stressed out about overbooking and scolded my husband when I went to the bathroom after the movie. I was on the bus 4 mins before departure. She did not scold the four people who showed up late, totally missed the movie, and then went to the bathroom, thus, making the whole bus wait five minutes. After the tour I went in to talk to Vicki, and she lied about what she said and was combative. The road is super bumpy, and the vehicles are old and not so nice. Look at the photos online and save yourself from meeting Vicki and potential back injuries from the ride...
