Having come from a long heritage of Butte coal mining family I had high hopes for a legit pasty. I will give very good reviews for r the crust, it was legit good and fresh! The filling was potatoes and cubed beef (roast). The beef was tender, but bordered in pate texture. The potatoes were almost mashed potatoes. I do think there is a lot of potential for upgrades— maybe some chopped onion, celery, carrot? My biggest issue was the level of salt in the pasty and then the gravy was pure salt. I had a class over at MT and the instructor ordered the pasty meals for a noon lunch break. The food arrived at 1230 and was not even warm. The pasty itself was HUGE and would normally be two meals for me, but it was REALLY salty. A couple of other people in the class also commented on the saltiness... both the pasty and the brown gravy were too salty for me. The cole slaw was fine, though. If you like salty food, this may be...
