So I called and asked if I could make reservations for the 4th and was told no, it’s a first come, first served basis. Okay, no problem, I’ll bet there early. Website stated park opens at 10, flyer stated park opened at 10. Person on the phone stated park opens at 10. Got there at about 8:15, thinking I’d have a good place in line. I was wrong. I was about a quarter of mile from entrance in a line of cars. Which shouldn’t have been too bad. Except the park had clearly been open for a while at this point. It was packed. People had already claimed all of the grills the park had. Was told by those same people that they made a reservation for those grills. 😒 but I was told no reservations. They had been in so long that some had already finished cooking. By the time we got in there was barely any space left to sit, grill, setup. Kindly a family that had three tables, said we could use one. Which I don’t understand why people needed 3/4/5 plus tables as if they were the only families there. The lake was fine. Went to the kids area which had more adults than kids and had to listen to the lifeguards tell them over and over to not run and that they actually weren’t allowed in this section. My daughter enjoyed it. People around us were nice. Would definitely recommend and visit again, probably not for a holiday though. Did not get to do the slides or anything else.

Our experience at Tomahawk Lake was very disappointing. The place was extremely dirty, with trash all over, and there didn’t seem to be any effort to keep the area clean or safe for families. The lifeguards were very rude and unprofessional. Instead of being helpful or respectful, they had a terrible attitude, which is unacceptable in a family-friendly environment. The worst part is that my daughter got a bacterial infection after being in the water. This shows that the lake is not properly maintained or safe for swimming, especially for kids. On top of that, the place is overpriced for what it offers. The cost does not match the quality at all, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to other families. A very unpleasant experience. We will not be going back.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We’ve been going here for years and this year’s experience was horrendous and we will never go back. It’s run down, the bathroom’s are gross, and the employees have 0 customer service training. Save your money and go anywhere else with your family! Our party included 3 family’s, 9 kids and 3 adults.

From the minute we pulled into the parking we apparently do not know how to follow the rules and got screamed at for not parking where we were supposed to by a man named Charlie. We understand there are rules but as grown women with children we do not need to be screamed at like animals. We’re human beings who just drove hours to visit this park and enjoy the day with our kid. We then spoke with a manager named Linda who has no clue how to manage customer issues and told us we were scaring our children by raising our voices. We were clearly very frustrated but again since Linda does not know how to listen and respond to customer complaints she deflected, refused to apologize and pretty much just walked away. She never attempted to approach us later on nor offer us anything for our poor experience. And it gets better.

At one point later on, with no warnings given or conversation with their parents they cut our kids waterside bracelets off for not following the rules. The kids had their feet out of a tube, which they admitted, and as a result fell out of it going down a slide. They were again screamed at and bracelets automatically taken away.

This place is a joke and both Linda and Charlie need lessons on customer service. Lilly was the only professional person we met. Thank you Lilly for attempting to help us as a Supervisor when Linda said you had no authority to do so. We appreciate you. I suggest you find a better job that recognizes the value you bring to the table. This...

I mean it suppose to be “Family Environment Park” some of the staff in this park really don’t have value in doing the right thing for their customers.. I get it there is no refund or what not but come on I took my 3 young kids, new born and my wife and arrived at 1:30pm spend about 100 dollars to enter. Then by 1:50pm we found a table settle our stuff down and the. Spend money on the food for lunch and 3 wrist band for the kids at 15 dollars each that they did not used. By 2pm it started raining. I’m currently still here and the rain it’s not stopping 3:30pm . I asked if I could come another day since we have not gotten in the water or anything.. ohh the older male on the golf cart was so nasty when I asked him a question .. I didn’t want my refund just wanted to see after spending almost 300 dollars in the park in 30 min and now with rain if I could come back tomorrow. But with his nasty and poor customer services I just decided to cut my losses . I would still came tomorrow and they would gotten more money out of me . but I guess they are not doing so well that they can’t even empathize with their customers. Oh well lost a valuable family.. very disappointed… there a couple of lake in the area … 2 car prior to us leaving got a refund but because they got to the park at 1:50 ten min before it rain…but I couldn’t .. that a bit racist wonder why… the elderly male in the golf cart I guess he the spoke man because he said “ you knew the weather that not our problem ” is that a fact or...
