Whistlestop Park — Attraction in Byron Township

This is a pretty large, nice park. I had a chance to explore only a corner of it. There is a dog park at the leftmost end of the park, with parking right next to it. One end of the catch and release fishing pond is pretty close to the dog park and the parking. At the other end of the elongated pond is a pavilion with picnic tables, a playground, and the restrooms. Fantastic park and recreation center. There are memberships available at the rec center for their gym, reading center, and workout areas. Amazing Little League complex and park. I am always impressed with the field conditions and ample parking considering the amount of Softball/ Baseball, Adult Softball, Soccer, LaCrosse games going on during the week.
