Bicentennial Park — Attraction in Byron Township

Getting in and out the parking lot is horrendous when there are multiple ballgames going. There are not enough spaces when two games are ending and two more games are starting. Multiple vehicles will park across from Bicentennial Park in Brown's Elementary school parking lot but for those that did have to risk by walking across busy Byron Center Avenue. Would recommend two drives into the Bicentennial Park parking lot, one solely for exit and one for entrance. And a cross walk on Byron Center Avenue between the park and the school. Nice and pretty large park. There is something for everyone. There are: Tennis courts Basketball courts Pickleball courts Shuffleboard courts Exercise equipment Playground Skate park Two pavilions (close to each other) Picnic tables and benches

I just had time to go around the courts and the picnic area and did not visit the skate park. Some of the exercise equipment wasn't in good shape and the playground area wasn't large. There is plenty tables and benches though. Most tables were under the two pavilions but there were some out in the open too. Also a few benches too. Nice...

The park looked good after being quarantined so long. Several of my friends went to attend the farm market, maintaining social distance of course. The market was disappointing, having only about a half dozen booths. We walked down to Jets pizza & got pizza to go, went back to the park.
