The bird show put on by Alex, Jordan, and Nature’s Educators at the Royal Gorge was absolutely outstanding. From beginning to end, it was equal parts captivating, educational, and inspiring. The energy and passion they bring to their work shines through in every moment, making the experience not only entertaining but deeply meaningful. What impressed me most was the perfect balance between excitement and knowledge. The show was fast-paced enough to keep everyone engaged, yet it was filled with fascinating insights about the birds, their behaviors, and the important role they play in the natural world. Alex and Jordan presented with such charisma and clarity that even complex ideas felt accessible and memorable. It was clear they care deeply about both the animals and the audience. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and their connection with the birds was truly remarkable to witness. The up-close demonstrations made the experience unforgettable, leaving us in awe of these incredible creatures and more aware of the importance of conservation. If you are visiting the Royal Gorge, I can’t recommend this show highly enough. It is not just a performance—it is an inspiring encounter with nature, guided by two educators whose love for wildlife is both genuine...
Read moreThe gorge is pretty and the walk across the bridge is great, the rest of an attempt at an amusement park is just lackluster and not worth it. No way to quarrantee that you will be able to do the ziplineeven after buying tickets due to the constantly shifting minimum and maximum weight limits of the rider. The best chance you will have though is to book an adventure with the jeep tour company as they have contract that requires their guests to automatically jump to the front of the line. You may be at the zipline 15minutes before it opens but count on a jeep of 6 getting there 5 minutes before the opening and cycle time is a little slow so I the 18 to 24 minutes it takes for the jeep tour group to cycle across the gorge you can rest assured there will be another jeep arrive just before the first group is completely across and so goes your day. Much like being stuck in a Disney...
Read moreBuy your tickets online go early there's plenty of parking go early bring sunscreen go early bring a snack go early. If you're going to do the zipline, gondola and skycoaster I recommend you do it in this order. Take the gondola up and then walk over to the Sky coaster and then do the zipline back. Keep in mind the skycoaster and zipline can have an hour or longer line. You have to fill out waivers for each of these so be prepared to do so and there is a weight minimum for the zipline. I think the minimum was 125 lb, but I would double check I may not be correct. Once you've done all those attractions go spend some time on the bridge. The bridge is the only attraction that has no line and you can go whenever you want. If your lucky you might see the Royal Gorge train going through the canyon below. The train stops for 15 minutes under the bridge for photo ops. Bring patience...
