Laguna Guaniquilla — Attraction in Cabo Rojo

This place is so amazing!!! You need to be prepared to hike so go with close shoes, a cap to protect from the sun and water. There are signs that tell you which way to go. The hike is for like 2 hours so use sunscreen. The only downfall is the parking. The place doesn’t have free or paid parking so you need to park nearby and walk to the entrance. The place doesn’t have a cost to enter but please take your trash and don’t leave it there. Your going to hear beautiful birds chirping and the greenery is beautiful. It’s not recommended to bring little kids because there are lots of cactus, rocks that you need to climb, hills and the sun is too strong.

Este lugar es muy hermoso. Necesitas tener tennis, gorra y agua por que el camino es como de dos horas aproximadamente. El lugar no tiene estacionamiento gratuito y tendrás que estacionarte en algún otro lugar y caminar hasta la entrada. El lugar no tiene costo y por lo tanto no dejes basura tirada en el lugar. No recomiendo que lleven niños muy pequeños porque el hay cactus en los alrededores, tienes que trepar rocas y subir y bajar cuesta y...

Great hiking trail. To get to the laguna, park past playa buyè. Walk the trail and when you see the ruins take a sharp left. You will see the trail begin there. Follow it and you will pass cueva cofressi. A few intersections to navigate but using google maps you will have no problem...
