The Aviation Unmanned Vehicle Museum in Caddo Mills, TX is a one-of-a-kind museum in a most unlikely place, Caddo Mills. I found this FB site while looking for UAV/Drones for my newest book. And just like magic, this site popped out at me and said...."You must visit it as soon as you can!" and I did. On my way back to AZ after visiting the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton, OH I decided to visit the AUVM, I was not disappointed, as a matter of fact, I was delightfully surprised at the quality and the amount of drone hardware are exhibits the Smith family has on display. To find this gem of a museum, it is exit 83 on Interstate 30. Once you exit, head north on FM 1565 for about a mile or so and the museum is on your left.

Very cool place with some surprising history. The entry is free. They accept donations which we were happy to provide. If you're into aviation history or just cool things that you didn't know existed, take time to stop at this place

go here! This place needs to be picked up by Smithsonian. He only accepts donations, so the museum is free. You could spend as much time as you want in both areas. There is so much to see, so much to learn. please donate though

I never knew the history of unmanned aircrafts went back so far. The museum was great and you can tell that everyone there is passionate about the history. They have a great collection and a predator drone that saw live action! Amazing place. I've driven by this place for over a decade and was always curious, but it completely exceeded my...

This place truly is a hidden gem! The collection of drones and other historical artifacts is incredible. The Smith family has done a fantastic job at restoring and displaying the massive collection, and I really appreciate the hard work and heart that they have poured into this mission of honor. Definitely...
