I don't have much to say about the whole park, it is right on the beach and has a nice play area. The park also has a mini disc golf course, and right across the road, it has a full course as well. I enjoy disc golf a lot, and after playing for roughly a year, I got my first ace playing here. If you're into disc golf, this place is one of my groups favorite courses to go to, strongly because of the location, but also because of the playing field it has. The course is decently difficult and has some nice shots.

It was a very nice, clean park. Good wooden playground. I could find 2 bathroom areas with drinking fountains. Its very close to the Mitchell lake in Cadillac. The water was a great temperature this past weekend and you could see the fish, pretty clearly. The seaweed was the only downfall I found. Lots of picnic areas. Some were shaded. Its close to the bike/walking trail that goes around the whole lake. Lifeguards are on duty on weekends. Very impressed. This is also walking distance from the campgrounds!

I loved this place that have a nature trail you can take there's different signs to read and there are places you can sit there too. The walk maybe an hour or so to walk straight through.

Sept 18th was our family reunion. It was 80° outside. Sun was shining. 50+ people in the park and the bathrooms were locked. I called to have the opened. Gentlemen came and said they are closed for the year due to lack of use. We seen well over 100 people, beside our group, come and go. Over 45 people tried to open those locked doors. Nephew quit counting after 45 people in a 2hr span. We had to walk across the road to the beach side. Park had many trip hazards along the way and no clear path. My brother left early due to him being in a wheelchair and unable to get across the park & road. To difficult to get in & out of a vehicle for all that. Also, the grills are gone. Trash was emptied and place was clean. Could have stayed longer if bathroom was open. 4hrs was enough and everyone was too inconvenienced. A few kids ran to the locked doors and didn't stay dry. Was embarrassing and avoidable! Maybe more people would come/stay if the bathrooms were open. Major failure for our reunion. Now people don't want to come back to...

Kenwood park is a wonderful place for the whole family. There are trails to walk, pavilions with picnic tables to sit at and eat. They have a nice clean beach and across the street there are volleyball nets and more pavilion’s where there are also grills and bathrooms just incase you end up being there all day long. They have a small playground by the pavilions for the kids. By the beach they have rooms to get changed into your suits. They also have a playground by the beach! Doesn’t seem to be lifeguards on duty here so keep an eye on the...
