Parking is available at no cost (at least, when I went, 8/20/2023). Staff are very friendly. There's an entrance fee of about $5 or $8. You can walk a few nature trails here. I believe I explored the entire grounds, but I might be wrong. I hope not. Nonetheless, I had a great time. Along the trails, you will find sculptures, luscious fruit trees, beautiful flowers, a running stream of water, bridges, etc. I'll admit I'm not the best at taking pictures. Pictures are just my way of revisiting the still image, closing my eyes, and envisioning/ feeling exactly what I saw/felt at that moment being present there. 🥰😍 There just so happened to be a car showcase that day, so I took pictures of my faves. Definitely wear sneakers, and I recommend long loose pants to stay cool. You'll work up a bit of a sweat walking the trails, but nothing too strenuous. While exploring, calló un aguacero😍 I just got under one of those beautiful 🌳 for shelter from the storm. Once it passed, I emerged from its shelter dry and kept it moving. It took me about 2 - 2.5 hours to explore. You'll come across other friendly explorers, mostly accompanied by their families. There is a bathroom near the entrance. Make sure to use it and stay hydrated. Happy venturing, frinds! Safe travels😁

This place is beautiful! I always thought I knew everything about my roots but ended up learning more in the guided tour on a golf cart, which, by the way, was only $3. It was so educational from a cultural, historical, and botanical point of view. The whole place was impressive. They have an actual Taina remains in their museum. I will be going back. This is a must-see! Although they don't have a souvenir shop or café, I'm sure they will come back as they keep recovering from hurricane Maria.

Perhaps this is one of the most fantastic botanical gardens in the world. It is spacious and it has as well a great historical exhibit of Tanino and other Amerindian historical Artifacts. at least you can roam around here a whole day. at least I could. Guided tours are available at this botanical garden on the site of a historic sugar mill. The entrance fee is Us$5.00 for adults and children from 5 - 12 pay 3 Us$. Distance about a 30 minute drive from San Juan.

Quite an adventure for the family with easy trails spanning several miles. All sorts of trees and wildlife. They also do some events on weekends like an orchid festival. My favorite is the drawbridge that is 100ft above river! Misc. facts: Parking on site and free Not much shade so sunblock, water and hats are a must Pricing is ver affordable 5$ for adults, 3$ kids and during events every is $3 bucks for entire day.

Beautiful and spacious. Affected by hurricane Maria but still worth seeing. I have a great time every time we go. They have different events which is nice! Many encourage bringing your pet and that's a definite plus. The pictures i uploaded are from last weekend when they had an orchid festival. One wish I have is that they had maps around to navigate easier. But we googled the map so it's not really a big deal.

Unfortunately the day I went, they were performing maintenance on nearly the entire garden, so I was only able to see a very small portion of it. What I did get to see was beautiful, but something I wished they had were more signs around trees, plants and other structures that would explain what I was looking at. I hope to go back one day to see the rest that was under maintenance at the time.
