Centennial Dog Park — Attraction in Caldwell

This dog park is awesome and love it. I would have given it 5 stars, however it needs a little TLC! OUR DOG GOT OUT! The fence nearest the Boise River in the middle and the north large dog areas, (north one being the worst) are undermined/dug out, by water, settling or dogs. We have a English setter that we rescued 2 and a half weeks ago. We've been working with her every day. We haven't had her off a leash until now. A couple days ago we were in the north dog run and noticed the holes, so today we went in the middle one. I didn't notice any holes/ low spots at first but our dog did and out she went. Luckily I got her back by jumping the fence and somehow convincing her to come to me. Like I said, love the park, just needs...

Took my puppy out to a dog park for the first time and he loved it! It makes me happy that the city provides such a great amenity to the community. I do believe the signs advise that all dogs should be leashed unless in a fenced area. Some people are so rude and have no self awareness letting their dogs run around on the trail/soccer field unleashed. I was with my 3 year old toddler and 20 pound pup and an unleashed pitbull mix circled us and scared my toddler so badly. Shame on those who are so inconsiderate! You are the reason accidents happen. Thank you to the city of Caldwell for this dog park. A big middle finger to those who do not follow...

I would like to say that the park is actually nice however, some people ruin it. There are sections for a reason!!! I took my babies for the first time we weren’t even there 15 minutes a this lady let her big huskies into the small dog section. They charged my 6 pound yorkie and not he can’t use his back legs!!! I rushed him to the hospital and they are hopeful he will recover. But now I am looking for this lady she has like 4 teeth and two huskies the male that attacked is named Loki and the female is bigger and apparently pregnant. I would like to speak to her about what happened. The picture below is his back but he has 8 puncture marks...
