Elk Bayou Park — Attraction in California

Looks like the restrooms in this park have not been functional since 1992. Despite that, it's still a lovely little park to visit, though there is lots of highway noise pollution and tons of oak that provide shade. Just a friendly reminder that there is a small home located nearby, so please be mindful not to wander into that area as it is private property and besides the fencing, there aren't any signs outside of that to...

Nice to have this area to stop, especially as the rest area nearby was closed. Overall a nice open space, 4 stars only because it was a bit secluded so safety was a concern, picnic bench seemed to have red ticks as a warning to anyone stopping to have a meal, which I pointed out to family so we stood and ate, although bench had a very nice shade covering.
