Grass Valley Park - private gated — Attraction in California

Park and the lake are "for ALA members/guests" only. Notice electronic entry system in place for foot and vehicular traffic and ALA does patrol its holdings---they are treasures. Safe/naturally kept area with restrooms.

Park borders Green Valley Lake and the posh Lake Arrowhead Country Club offering views of the luscious greens (nutured by reclaimed water thanks LACSD). Pristine, clean and gated at the time of my visit.

Very open dog friendly huge frogs yes I said frogs it's a very enjoyable lovely place on the mountain where you can let your kids, dogs and friends run free ( granted I believe you are supposed to have dogs on leashes at all times) I didn't, several others let their dogs run loose as well . Seriously?! The only park that is baby/toddler friendly and the public is not allowed?! Why isn’t there any local Public park like this for the community? It’s insane only the elite get a place to enjoy like this. Theres literally no where I can take my child to lay out on the grass and I found this place thinking how wonderful… but nope not allowed inside a park. 😂 only...
