The Mountain History Museum - Rim of the World Historical Society — Attraction in California

Pleasure meeting historian Russ Keller and snooping around this museum. As a child I was introduced to this area via car trip to Santa’s Village. This is a definite visit and do grab a souvenir from the gift shop.

Theatre presentation of film history of area was a delight while lounging in the cool air-conditioning. Curious about the “Lollipop Lady” as they named a school after her. Is that true Russ?

The most extensive collection of artifacts from Santas Village is here. The docents are very knowledgeable about the Rim during the lumbering operations.
