Manteca Historical Society — Attraction in California

I enjoy all of the historical sites in all the places I visit. Including MANTECA historical museum. This place has an enlightening amount of city history. Lots of aged and labeled to their places in time relics/clutter/photos ect... if you ask or request they have in the tower of the building it self mantecas hall of fame. With a picture of each citizen member of manteca to ever become inaugurated into mantecas hall of fame. Many folks including people I know and or am related to are in their. Pretty fascinating. Also if you play pokemon go... there is a poke stop located at the benches under the oak tree at the fire truck display. Its neat. Thank you manteca historical society for keeping it up like you have.

I have been wanting to visit this museum for a few weeks now and finally made the time today to visit. While it is a small museum, there is a lot of history about Manteca here. It was nice to see some of the exhibits and imagine what life in this area used to be like. I was especially impressed by a young man who works there and joined me as I walked through the exibits. For being as young as he is and not native to the area, he has an amazing wealth of knowledge about our town. He is basically a walking Manteca encyclopedia! Thank you again to the staff. It won't be life changing, but I do plan to make a donation because of my experience there today. Keep up...

Was excellent we had a tour very friendly very educated so much history to look at people go check it out it's great lots of information lots to see it's a small place but it's full of History things that you won't see anywhere else please go and it's free thank you for all the people that put it together it was well organized God bless outstanding.Judy,Jane,Sachman...Thank you all for making the museum with history God...
