Manzanita county park snacks available during game days. Accept Apple Pay Cash/ Venmo. Very huge, dog friendly, plenty of parking, restrooms available, hiking trails leading around manzanita. Please make sure you check your pets for any ticks. I just went on a hike and my dog had a tick we didn’t go off trail.

Dirt loop with a mixture of some ups and downs but nothing crazy! Very doable. Perfect for the dogs. Nice quiet scenery with some cows and horses thrown it. Can park at the bottom and walk up the hill to the trail.

A great park for walking your dog, riding your horse or hiking. On this property are also ⚾ diamonds, batting cages and concession stands during the season. The sunsets are awesome here!

I absolutely love this park and the trails that surround it. I bring all my dogs to hike on the trails up to the softball and soccer fields the facilities look really nice I've never used them personally but the fields look really well maintained and the grass is really nice and green and healthy. unfortunately there's no restrooms that are open unless there's a softball or baseball game going on. I've encountered other exercisers, other dogs, and even horses on the trails. It's also a great place to look for fungi in the winter. My dogs have been here on and off leash but on the busier days like the weekends I definitely recommend using a leash as there is a leash law. I wish they would open up the BMX jumps for public use but it seems every time I go there the gates...

Positives: It's a nice sized park with multiple trails with public access for a reasonable price and seems pretty safe and is kept clean from trash.

Negatives: All the trails are nearly unusable to anyone except horseback riders. Every time I come here the trails are completely dug up by horses and full of poo making it impossible to run or jog without twisting your ankle or stopping every few strides. Apparently the management decided to let the 5% of people using the park for horses to ruin ALL the trails. Not OK. Most people that come here use the trails to exercise, jog, run, or walk their dog. I don't think it's fair or practical that the small percentage of horses have free rein on all the trails to ruin it for the...

I love manzanita. I find that the area is beautiful, clean, and the fields are well-kept. I typically go on a walk around the trails and get my bird app to identify the type of birds I hear along the trail. This last visit, I noticed on the trail, bags with poop. In my opinion, it would be best to let the dog poop on the trail then to add plastic to the environment. Other than that people use the trail for walks, listen to a good book or music, or go on a horse ride. This park is not very windy which I appreciate and after a walk, I am good to tackle a bit of cold weather in the late afternoons. Great park for its natural beauty, family friendliness, and atmosphere being a relaxing calming...
