This is by far the best BMX track in the state. The track manager only allows riding when the track is dry and it is maintained impeccably. It is a down sloped track that is very smooth and is very fast with asphalt turns.
The track has loaner bikes and helmets for new riders to use for free. (*Note they require all riders to wear a long sleeve shirt and any form of long pants, sweat pants, riding pants etc. for rider safety).
Manzanita Park BMX has a very friendly family environment with a range of riders from 2 years old to 50 years old and you can't beat the snack shack prices. A bottle of Gatorade for a dollar. Candy bars $1.00, grilled cheese sandwiches are only $2.00 etc. You can feed the whole family without breaking the bank.
Best of all is that everyone in attendance is friendly and especially helpful to new riders. You often see the more advanced riders taking laps with new riders giving them pointers and helping them to get started in the sport. This is my family's favorite BMX race track...

If you're young enough to walk uphill it's alright. I'm not in top shape and I'm pushing 76 years old and still had tp partially walk...
Read moreA secret hidden gem that shouldn’t be a secret! My 3yr old son and I are brand new to racing and the community at Manzanita have been nothing but welcoming and helpful. The part I find most amazing is the team is all volunteers. The dedication and effort invested by the team would be amazing impressive if they were paid staff, that fact that they give so much without being compensated is a rare thing in this day and age. We love Manzanita and look forward to giving back...
