I dropped in here when my camping plans got cut short. The employee (maybe volunteer?) was very helpful, she pointed out a couple items of interest in the museum. I really enjoyed the "basket" room with native American baskets, arrowheads and other artifacts. The museum has a lot of items and photos on display showing the history of Mono County. While there I asked about the ghost town of Masonic, the employee gave me a free map to get there. The admission fee is very inexpensive- $2.
