Newton Vineyard — Attraction in California

My wife and I visited Newton Napa Valley February 18, 2023. It was a private tasting hosted by a very knowledgeable, respectful and kind young man named Edgar Macias. Our entire experience, from greeting to our wine tasting with a splendid charcuterie, to our departure, was magnificent. My wife enjoyed the 2016 Mt. Veeder Cab and my favorite was the 2016 Spring Mountain Cab. We have been to Napa before but this experience at Newton was the best by far, for both of us. We learned so much from Edgar about the grape growing process, the vineyards and the climate for this batch of wine year 2016. I wanted to thank Mr. Macias for help making this tasting a memorable one. His hospitality is superior and we wish him the best! Newton makes a superb Chardonnay as well. Stop looking for another vineyard to propose to your girlfriend at, this is the place! I booked the Newton Vineyard Exploration experience and it was amazing. We were lucky to be the only ones to have book it during our time slot. We had a walking tour of the vineyard, garden, cellar caves, and then we drove through forest and to the top of the hill in a one of kind utility vehicle to our private tasting experience overseeing the vineyard. I planned and executed a proposal at Newton for my then-girlfriend/now-fiance in early May 2019, and I cannot commend the Newton team highly enough. Everything — including Karen and Maria's assistance in booking/planning the event, Maria's tour & tasting the day of, Edgar setting me up in the garden for the proposal, and Maria accommodating us after I popped the question — was absolutely perfect.
