Original Del Taco Location — Attraction in California

#thursdayvibes in the oldest @deltaco in the world who is a little stand in the middle of nowhere with a sign that declares it the worlds first Del Taco! I got a time to walk around and stumbled upon it while on a detour off the freeway to avoid traffic. You should definitely try it cause this restaurant hides a secret piece of @california history. It also has a cool place next to it with all kinds of memorabilia. A must visit if you're passing by, check it out!!! 🇧🇷🇺🇸🇨🇦

This is now the Burger Den, a great roadside burger joint run by friendly people who like the food they're proud to make. The burgers are good: well-cooked, good meat, great produce, incredible buns and good prices. There's more: they do original old school Del Taco style tacos, which are frankly more OG than those over in Barstow at the oldest remaining actual Del Taco. Here at Burger Den, the meat is grilled on the flat top rather than scooped out of a bowl, the lettuce and cheese are chopped and shredded much the same, but the tomatoes are nicer in content and presentation and the salsa is very good. This place is a must when you are in the mood for great food! Wife and I live in Barstow and drive out here as often as we can for the food here. I absolutely love the burgers, and the Mexican food they serve is on the same level. The Asada fries are AMAZING. The cherry on top is how great the service is. The owner is extremely friendly and polite and will NOT disappoint. Everything is cooked fresh and made to order.
