LOVE this place. We used to stop here every time we drove from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, and we'd always find something cool and different. We loved finding books, costume pieces, and off-the-wall gifts for our off-the-wall hosts in CA.

We finally had the chance to visit again after moving away from the west coast, and we prayed they'd still be open after 7 years. We were heartbroken when the original building was closed & boarded up (like most of Yermo, really) -- and then we spotted this HUGE barn-sized shop up the road. We had high hopes... We walked in and were greeted with the owner shaking our hands and welcoming us back (and berating us for being gone so long). WHEW!

If you're looking for media items (we made out like bandits with LPs), estate sale finds, or just weird stuff that's been commissioned, it's well worth the stop in this one-exit town. Go ahead and get gas in Barstow, but don't miss this shop. Tell 'em their friends from Vegas who moved to...

Really amazing spot! Hidden gem. Owner couldn't be more friendly. Extremely welcoming like a long lost friend. The place is much bigger than I expected from the outside. It was very clean inside, no funny smells, huge selection of antiques and thrift items. Lots of DVDs , furniture, kitchenware, lawn equipment and yard decorations, cool vintage rarities. The prices were extremely low on everything. Lots of antiques. I found many dressers and desks I wanted to buy, so I'll be returning. The manger or owner Ron is a great guy. Stopped in here for the first time today and enjoyed the experience. Everything is fairly priced and they negotiate as well. Very friendly staff. The ambience was very enjoyable as the building is quite old. I felt like I was inside of a movie! Not sure how to describe but it had a special feeling. I’ll be returning to see what treasures show up the next time. I’ve been to the Treasure House Mall in Barstow and although I enjoy it there as well, their stuff can be pricey for what it is.
