Getting here is an adventure but it's well worth it. The falls are accessed via a long road that starts in a populated rural area but quickly turns to dirt and goes through some very desolate forest. It's very beautiful here, and the road isn't too rough, but it goes on for a while. The trail to the falls itself is quite easy, just be cautious of loose gravel and don't take the shortcuts people have carved into the hillside.

Read moreGorgeous hike down to the falls! And the little pool was so nice to swim in on a hot day! A little chilly on the day we went, as it was all in the evening shade. The falls is in the west side of the hills so it shades the area in the evening. Go mid day for best hot weather relief :)
The hike takes only about 10 or 15 mins to go up and down. Its off a fairly long (couple miles) windy gravel road so be ready to drive a ways on an unpaved road. Limited parking on side of road, probably fits 4 or 5 cars max right in...
