We sailed here from Seattle. It has a real nice big sandy anchorage and it's free for the first week. They also have mooring balls which come with a free water taxi during business hours. It's really windy here in the afternoon, we tried grabbing a mooring ball one afternoon, but 20 knot winds made that an insane task, so we returned to an easy anchorage. One thing I think they need to add, a dinghy dock near the anchorage sure would be nice, a place to secure our dinghy while going into town to resupply for the journey ahead (read: spend money in your town). We also grabbed diesel here, it was a good price, but the docking experience on a sailboat was pretty bad, wind pushing you onto rough dock, plus some surge from the ocean and an inconsiderate commercial fishing boat nearby made this not a great experience.
