Worst experience ever, mostly thanks to an employee named Jacob. My husband and I had a reservation for wine tasting at 4:15pm and drove over 2 hours from LA to get here. We were 8 minutes late due to extreme traffic and arrived at 4:23pm to find the entrance gate closed. We tried the intercoms at the gate for a few minutes and no one ever answered. I called them at least 10 times on the phone until an employee named Jacob finally answered. At this point it was already 4:33pm. When I told him we’ve been by the gate for a while now and had a reservation at 4:15, he stated that he was outside the gate waiting for us until 4:30 which is a blatant lie since we were there at 4:23pm on the dot. Why would you shut the gate with multiple customers still parked inside that need to eventually leave after 5pm??? 😂. He then refused us our tasting because they close at 5pm. This kind of blatant disrespect and lack of customer service is unacceptable for an establishment this vineyard claims to be. Unfortunately after years of club V membership with them, I will NOT renew my membership and will make sure I will update all my friends and family I had referred there to do the same. Honestly their wines are mediocre. Only their 2012 Cab sav was good, but they don’t even have that anymore and anything else is sub par...
Read moreWhat a wonderful place. Nestled into the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley just up the coast from Santa Barbera. The winery itself is gorgeous overlooking the mountains of Los Padres National forest. When you walk in you are greeted by an amazing staff. Everyone that works here has a great knowledge not only of wine, but of the area as well. If you are lucky you may even meet the owners, Mr and Mrs Vincent, who are fantastic hosts and full of love for there winery and staff. You may even get a chance to meet the amazing wine makers who make the highly awarded wine that the Vincent family has created. The place is lovely, well ran, with an incredible ambiance. And ofcourse how could I forget Jackie and Lee, who run the day to day there at the winery and tasting room. Lee will sit down with you and tell you stories and Jackie, well, she is an angel in every single way. To put it simply, if you are looking to go wine tasting, host an event or anything else, this is absolutely the best place around. The wine is excellent, the people make it feel like you're part of the family and the winery feels like home. Bravo Vincent Vinyards, truly are the...
Read moreOverpriced and low quality wines coupled with horrible customer service. Special thanks to Jacob for the most unprofessional and rude experience I have ever had. My wife and I drove from Los Angeles to pick up wines and do a wine tasting at 4:15 pm. Jacob apparently wanted to leave early and decided to close the front gate before my wife and I arrived (we were 8 minutes late). We then waited for 20 minutes outside the front gate while patrons were inside and attempted to call the front lockbox (which doesn’t work). When we confronted Jacob about this, he said we were late and that it was too late to do a wine tasting. Needless to say, I will not be taking my wife or my legal clients back there. Wines are hella mid and you can get a lot better quality for the price. I also wouldn’t recommend traveling to their winery from outside the area since they don’t honor reservations. Go there at...
