My wife and I went there over the President's Day weekend on a lead from another winery down the street. We did not have a reservation, but we took a chance to see if we could do a tasting because we love zin. Frank was there with another gentleman doing a tasting with a small group of about five people. We know that they saw us and we waited for about 10 minutes. There was no one else there. Neither Frank nor the other gentleman ever acknowledged our presence. We do not know why. Maybe we needed a reservation? Needless to say, we were very disappointed. When I read all of the other reviews, I do not doubt that the wine and ambiance are probably great. I am just unsure why it was different for us? Would be willing to try again, but will probably try a reservation this time as I would not want to make the trip from Sacramento again just to be ignored.
