Took on the Hellbrook Trail recently, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most intense hikes I’ve ever done—physically and mentally. The trail is steep, technical, and barely lets up from start to finish. You’re climbing more than hiking at times, with slick rocks, tight root systems, and constant elevation gain.

Read moreif you don’t have access to apps like AllTrails, I wanted to drop some videos here for anyone looking to do this route. I recommend HellBrook on your way to the summit and the long trail on the way back down (if you don’t wish to take the gondola, this trail is HARD on your knees)
Lots of scrambling, not a lot of flat areas so you’ll be on your knees and hands to avoid tripping or falling. Super enjoyable tho and makes this trail so much more fun. Please be cautious lots of water, slippery rocks and rockfall. As well please pick up after yourself don’t go off trails, this area is being protected. Respect Mother Nature and enjoy your hike...
