Mount Megunticook offers a truly stellar hiking experience that deserves every bit of its five stars! The views from this mountain are nothing short of breathtaking. We thought we had reached a great vantage point, but we kept following the trails and were rewarded with even more incredible scenery—the vistas just kept getting better and better! The hike itself is wonderful. While there were definitely some sections of the trails that were a bit tough and required a little scrambling, overall I would classify this as an easy to moderate hike.
