Phillips Memorial Park — Attraction in Cameron

This park was a perfect outing for a light stroll with young children. Typically my young children cannot stay on their feet too long but they were just about able to do the whole walk around the pond. At the conclusion was a small playground with one of those tiny libraries (a small box where you can take or leave books) full of children books. Additionally, the trail was well maintained and for a portion well shaded. It is mostly gravel though, but we still managed a stroller. There is a large field as well, and next time I plan to bring a soccer ball or Frisbee for the kids...

This place is awesome we don't live there just visit family near there and my kids love it I have 9 and 4 year old. They have all kinds of stuff to do for all ages. There is a pond you can fish . My kids love going there to catch little frogs and turtles or just fish. They also have a play ground not really big but it's still fun for them they have walking paths that go all the way around the pond also they have a bench swing for the parents to relax and watch the youngster's enjoy themselves also got picnic tables to have a nice picnic...

This is a nice park with the lake and two playground sets. It has lots of tables and benches to eat lunch. It was very windy on one side of the lake but not windy on the other side. I came to this park before and I really enjoy it. It has a trail around the lake and in one spot there’s a mailbox where people can leave encouraging messages for others.
