3 Kings Sports Cards LLC — Attraction in Canton Township

I had previously rated this shop 5 stars for its really good customer service. However during my last visit on 07/28 I purchased a 2025 bowman hobby box, and to my disappointment, the box was missing the autographed card. Which to be clear is no fault of the store. It was the way the situation was handled. I called to let them know about the defective box, and was met with a bit of hostility. He told me the boxes are supposed to be 1 auto per box on average and it’s not even guaranteed. Which if anyone has ripped a lot of bowman or is knowledgeable on the product at all, would know this is simply not true. He then told me because they don’t package the product, there was nothing they could do and to call Topps. I did not appreciate him attempting to gaslight me into thinking the auto out of a hobby box was not guaranteed. The only reason this is not 1 star is because they have good prices compared to competitors and the $5 Topps...

Was in earlier today and brought an okay stack of cards to hopefully get some cash on. Waited around a couple minutes to get with someone, sure fine. Few moments later one of the employees gets me all set up with what he’s interested in etc. Great. Next, gives me a price for one of my cards and I respectfully declined, next one I get offered $20 and I countered at $25. After that the gentleman tells me he’s “too busy” for this and scurried off to go do whatever other business he had to take care of, wouldn’t even set me up with somebody else that was working, there were at least 2-3 other gentleman there that could’ve assisted. If they weren’t interested that’s fine with me. I drove and hour plus round trip and I’m very disappointed on how I was treated. This is a business and it’s a business to make money. All businesses are there to make money. The sports cards aspect of it is just a bonus. I don’t know I’ve been in a better sports cards place. I’m always greeted with a smile, asked if I need help. Mike always makes sure to say hello. Prices are prices and the market fluctuates. This isn’t 1995 anymore. They hobby is booming and I’m here for it. They’re not overpriced here. I’ve been to plenty of shops and even looked at shops online, 3 Kings prices are lower. The fact that someone can come in and not have a good time is beyond me. Sports cards have created a bond like no other for my son and I. This store has reinvigorated my love for the hobby. I have yet to come to a trade night but I will definitely bring my son to one to check it out! Keep up the great business and you’ve got a customer...
