This is the best park that I have been to anywhere. Not only for the kids either because I know I play on the playground with mine too and we all have a good time. It's big enough and spread out enough that even the big kids like me can play too. And the whole thing is pretty much shaded throughout the entire day. Then when you add in the concrete walking/running path that has workout stations incorporated into it and the disc golf coarse also, it is pretty hard to beat. There are a couple of covered pavilions and a sand volleyball court as well. Oh and it is most commonly called the Castle Park around here with the locals because as you can guess, the playground area is made to look like a big castle! It's pretty awesome! Read moreNice place to go. However, people need to think twice about how they respond to and treat young adults with special needs. I had a few of my special needs young men with me and the place literally cleared out upon our arrival. One of my young men is as cute as can be and he loves to swing. He is non verbal as far as words but was being very verbal in shouts and laughter once he realized he was getting to swing. A few ladies thought he was adorable but most of the dads out there gave him ugly looks and seemed put out to the point they hearded their chilsdren outta tha park and left. Read moreIt's a good course with lots of potential, but it must currently be undergoing changes because the launch pads do not appear to be true to the app (tees and baskets). The terrain is nicely versatile. Launch pads were divoted; need to be leveled - maybe concrete would be a better option. In all, it was fun, but we ended up having to replay a couple of holes because baskets were not labeled from the perspective of the fairway. Perhaps the numbers could be printed on more than one side of the basket rim to make them more readily distinguishable. It's a fun course,...
