The Palo Duro Trading Post is a fantastic little oasis tucked deep inside the canyon—and a must-stop if you’re visiting the park. After a morning of hiking and exploring, we were seriously impressed by the burger, which was genuinely world class. Cooked fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served hot and fast—it hit the spot in the best way possible. They also offer ice cream, snacks, drinks, and other quick bites, which makes this a great place to recharge without leaving the park.
Inside, the trading post has a fun mix of souvenirs, gear, and Palo Duro merch. You’ll find T-shirts, mugs, magnets, and even some trail essentials if you forgot something. There are also outdoor tables and a shaded seating area where you can relax and enjoy the canyon views.

Nonetheless, we received our food and it was tasty. Unfortunately, the wildlife blind is right next to the Trading Post -- which means more foot and automobile traffic around the area disturbing the viewing...
