Ocean Club at Port canaveral — Attraction in Cape Canaveral

We came in from a storm that came up in the middle of the night. Marina was closed and no one to call for a slip. Pulled up to fuel dock, tied up and went to sleep. 8am here comes Mark the harbor master with a smile welcoming us to Ocean Club. Helped retie the boat, got us fueled up and gave us a lot of local intel for how to spend the day in Cape Canaveral. During our conversation we had an alarm go off we could not find, he jumped in, found it and corrected it in less than 5 min. Found that he ran a large repair operation with lift that could haul out our 29 foot beam cat. We will be back in Nov to take advantage of that. In planning or day trip to NASA and wondering how hat to do with dog, Mark offered to dog sit for us. Way above and beyond. Met many of the local boaters on the dock. Incredible group of people. Great marina with really good facilities. Restrooms and showers were in very good condition. Free coffee, and you can also do some work or just enjoy yourself in the club rooms upstairs (see my photos). Great staff. You can walk to a small diner and some shops and restaurants which are within 15-20 mins...
