Carlisle Castle Playground — Attraction in Carlisle

This is a great playground! I have been meaning to make it over here, and boy was I not disappointed! Luckily we showed up only about 15 minutes before the park is open to the public as I wasn’t aware of the restricted hours during the summertime. (During the summer there is summer session schooling and the use of the playground is closed to the public 8am-1pm). I have a toddler and preschooler and found the park to have many elements and sections that make it enjoyable and challenging for all ages! This looks like an AWESOME playground; however, parents/caregivers beware-there is a big sign posted saying “NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC DURING SCHOOL HOURS.” Totally fair, considering it belongs to the school, and bad on me for not checking reviews first, just wanted to air that info before you get your kiddos all psyched up to go to “the castle park” like I did🤦🏼‍♀️, only to be disappointed. I've been dying to come check this playground out since it's been built but has been hard since it's a school playground. Finally had time, and boy, was it amazing. It has that nostalgic feel with the castle look and all the fun hiding spots and weird "stairs." There's some really cool updated things as well, a zipline, ninja course, crazy net climbing apparatus to get to a crazy slide! My kids could've stayed...
