Always welcoming place to relocate your busy days into the magical atmosphere of this place. You want to hike? Go ahead it's perfect for it. You want to take a thousand pictures of white dainty butterflies that roam above the vegetation alongside the Bluffs? You'll run out of memory in your phone camera in no time. Be on the lookout for a giant squirrel that allows you to do an impromptu photoshoot with it for an hour.. maybe you might have to gently talk to it and tell her how beautiful her eyes are, , lol.. at least that's what I did.. enjoy this place if you can.. all is free but don't walk away from the donation box by the entrance it'll help volunteers and others to keep this place beautiful and maintain its current cleanliness. Thanks for reading. What to expect here, fields with mountain backdrop. Fields with the Bluffs and ocean view with shipping boats. At the edges of the cliffs you'll find dugout alongside to sit on while breathing in such serenity. This is a time soul searching for the self of you that was once humble and kind and respectful towards others. You'd go home thanking well,...

This is such a beautiful morning walk. We entered the park through the neighborhood on Calle Ocho, and walked from the Tar Pits Park area to the south end of the nature preserve and back. There were gorgeous yellow and purple flowers blooming, and lots of docile honey bees foraging for pollen. The path roams along the bluffs, sometimes more inland, sometimes right against the edge. It wanders past the Seal Sanctuary, which is a must see. You can see seals sunbathing, playing in the waves, and bouncing on the sand. We saw pups nursing, and following their mums around. There are some bikes, but everyone was riding slowly and considerately. It's a lovely, easy walk. I was just fine in Crocs, carrying a...

Great place to go for a hike. The seals are located near the pier. We’ll have to revisit as the seals were not hanging out on the beach. But we did see a couple of seals swimming in the water. There were a bunch birds all lined up and sectioned by breed instead. Rank and file! Looked interesting. It was beautiful place. Optional of how rigorous a hike would be to your liking depending on the areas you visit. I got a good cardio workout hiking down to the beach and back up. But you can also do a leisurely stroll all the way to see the seals 🦭...

This place is beautiful and worth visiting more than once… was nice to visit in the afternoon to later have dinner in the evening with local eats, we chose Teddy’s which was great! Looking forward to our next visit and to have better footage of the seals and the wonderful surrounding coastline. It was nice too without the seals being in their sanctuary area.
