Amazing course. Great for even the average golfer. Course is in great shape. Staff was out getting the course ready and make it look great. Bunkers are well maintained. Greens are spotless and look great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was my first time playing and the staff helped me out. Would definitely come back and play when we come back for a visit.

Second trip to Carroll Valley this year and each time it gets better. The course is in immaculate shape. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Price is good for this nice of a course. Staff are super friendly and pace of place was excellent. Three of us played 18 holes in 3 hours and 45 minutes. Not to mention the scenery is amazing this time of year.

The course was in fabulous condition, greens were fast. I booked a late Saturday tee time thinking it would be a fast 18 yet when I cought the group in front of me it was a 5some. Now I was a single but oh man were they sloooow. Anyway, they shouldn't be able to run a 5some especially on a weekend. Other than pace of play it was enjoyable.

Had a “stay & play” package with 20 other men for 3 nights-4 days of golf. Facilities were above average & course was in great shape for all the rain received in the area. Greens were fast & true. Staff was very helpful & accommodating. However; The food service is an other story. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of options & the waitress was “spot on” filling our coffee cups & attending to the tables. The evening dinners left a lot to be desired. The waitresses were polite & very efficient but understaffed for serving a party of 21. My food was either under cooked or looked like a crispy critter. Vegetables were served lukewarm or cold. Dinner food service was totally...

First into the clubhouse - you cannot pay for anything with cash - HUH? Not sure you can demand that, and if so, you may want to tell your clients ahead of time. Second, greens on 9 and 18 looked pretty good, but I’m pretty sure that was on purpose. The rest…aerated and harry. Again, may want to tell people on the line particularly when charging 49.00 for a 1:30 time. Pace of play was fine, fairways so so with dead grass and spotty everywhere. I gave this facility 1 more chance after a last terrible experience 7 years ago. There will not be another. Too many other courses with 30 minutes in much better shape and better priced for...

I come to Carroll Valley yearly as part of a 80-90 person golf outing over 3-4 days. The course was beautiful this year. Fairways were lush, greens were true, and the new landscaping of late summer- early fall flowers and scrubs made the course look like Augusta. Staff on the course or in the lodge are always super friendly and helpful. At Carroll Valley, the head grounds keeper believes in the game of golf. Errant shots off the fairway are sometimes hard to find in the rough, so if you spray the ball everywhere, bring extra balls. The course is challenging from the yellow senior...
