Had a “stay & play” package with 20 other men for 3 nights-4 days of golf. Facilities were above average & course was in great shape for all the rain received in the area. Greens were fast & true. Staff was very helpful & accommodating. However; The food service is an other story. The breakfast buffet was very good with a variety of options & the waitress was “spot on” filling our coffee cups & attending to the tables. The evening dinners left a lot to be desired. Again, may want to tell people on the line particularly when charging 49.00 for a 1:30 time. Pace of play was fine, fairways so so with dead grass and spotty everywhere. Read moreI come to Carroll Valley yearly as part of a 80-90 person golf outing over 3-4 days. The course was beautiful this year. Fairways were lush, greens were true, and the new landscaping of late summer- early fall flowers and scrubs made the course look like Augusta. Staff on the course or in the lodge are always super friendly and helpful. At Carroll Valley, the head grounds keeper believes in the game of golf.
