It’s a challenging trail especially in the winter, snow and ice, must use micro spikes half way up and down. Well worth the effort. The waterfall makes it even more worth hiking this trail. Not heavily trafficked. A couple of spots had fallen trees so you have to navigate around them. Well marked. Super steep at the top. Bring your strength and get ready for the best views of mount Washington. Hiked this trail with my wife and my 9 year old son. Although it’s rated hard, it’s doable by an inexperienced hiker. This was my sons 7th hike up similar trails. Enjoy, be safe and bring a stove so you can enjoy a warm cup of soup and coffee at the top. Read moreI started my hike about 35 minutes late because the sign for the trail is so far back, and overgrown with vegetation that you can't see it. I walked across the street to show you, in between the two cars is the sign, you literally cant see it!! Unfortunately, there is no cell service out there so I drove past it and even drove past it again after turning around. You will find the entrance to this trail a short distance right after the rock face on the right and then you see a little sign pointing to the right saying trail ahead I have done the other trails off of here as well and find them to be challenging enough.
