Crush It Art Bar — Attraction in Carrollton

I am very familiar with 1700 Brewing. I'm a frequent customer, love them. When I saw they were having a paint night, I got excited and signed up with some friends. I was very disappointed upon arrival to find that I spent $35 on paper. I was expecting canvas board, acrylic paint, and an apron to protect my clothing. Instead, I got a piece of paper, water color and no apron. This was a $15 event to me. I was not impressed with this event, felt it was a waste of my money and will not be a returning customer to Crush It On Canvas, LLC. I read through the advertisement for this event and do not recall it being watercolor on paper. We were also not provided with aprons to protect our clothing from paint. I attended an event with Crush It On Canvas through Virginia Tech. Not only were all the materials provided for and ready to go, but the two artists (Darcy and Mary (?)) Went above and beyond helping students out and making sure the atmosphere was fun. The company's founder went out of her way to learn students names and continously interact with students. After the event finished, I left and had several people comment on my design and how it was stunning. People couldn't even believe to understand how it was painting, let alone in such a short time. If given the opportunity, I would definitely go to another event with Crush...

We couldn’t recommend this local family-owned art bar more!!! Darcy and her team are absolutely fantastic! We attended a couple of their travel Crush It On Canvas events at local breweries, but tonight was our first time at the grand opening of the Crush It Art Bar. All of the staff were so kind and attentive. They truly made it an amazing experience from start to finish. The instructor, Shara, was constantly walking around to lend a helping hand.
