Dellinger Park — Attraction in Cartersville

This is a great local park, of which most things to do are free. The park has 2 walking trails now (1 which was just recently completed). The park has a large pool with a water park type of area for small children. There are tennis courts (free to use), basketball courts (free), as well as playgrounds, a pond with a gazebo, picnic areas and ample restrooms. There are even several baseball fields that can be rented as well as large pavilions for events (which have recently been renovated). I love this park, especially with all the new improvements. I use to throw all my kids bday here, after the remodeling this place is freaking amazing the grills are easy to clean and read for some charcoal and fire. More bathrooms thanks to the remodeling. Lovely nature trails and large grassy areas which occasionally are crowded by kids and teen practicing for foot ball.

My kids love it because there are several nice park structure that are made for kids like play grounds from back in my day where all the way up till middle school the schools gave us recess. All in all great place to make a daily visit to, especially if you play Pokémon Go and have kids...

This park is too busy. Overcrowded, dirty. They are building new restrooms and play areas...Investing in improving the park. There is a new walking path for visually impaired individuals. My only complaint is too many people, too much trash and goose poop everywhere. And people mistreating the ducks and geese because they can. I see police patrol cars very time I go. They are much needed. They probably need more patrols, though. It’s just too busy and crowded. I don’t feel like I can relax there...
