If you are new to golf or have a group of four who cannot complete 9 holes in 2 hours STAY AWAY! We were birddogged by the Course Marshal the whole game and it started before we even made it to the first tee. We had planned this day for months. My husband and father had played Three Crowns in the past and loved it! My husband had recently gotten the OK from his doctor to play golf again after his stroke. We traveled from Alaska to Wyoming to celebrate my parent’s 60th wedding anniversary (yes, they’re both in their 80’s) and part of this celebration was that I spent half of my summer taking lessons to play a round of golf with my parents for the first time in my life. Golf at Three Crowns was supposed to be the highlight of our trip but instead turned out to be an absolutely horrible day. We told the Marshal at the beginning that I was a novice and would be moving a little slower but we would move aside and let anybody who caught up go ahead so we wouldn’t slow anyone down and all could enjoy their own pace of play for the day. We let 2 groups, who were very courteous and had no problems whatsoever, pass us without slowing anyone down. We were harassed so badly by the Marshal the entire game and told at the 3 hour mark on the ninth hole to pick up our balls, move to the green and leave. We picked up our balls and left without finishing. He had successfully taken the fun out of the whole game. The Marshal informed us that it hurts their bottom line if they let people like us play. Don’t waste $180...

Fantastic ! The course is interesting, challenging and rewarding. The fairways were in fantastic shape when I first played the course in July -- and were similar on October 29, 2014. The bunkers are man sized bunkers that beg you to challenge them. If you chicken out there is always water to contend with.
The food is great. The service is friendly and spontaneous.
The golf shop staff is without question the best I've experienced in over 50 years of playing golf.

Read moreAwesome course! I live in Southern California and I was in Casper, Wyoming for the Great American Solar Eclipse. I decided to play a round of golf and I saw that this course got great reviews so I decided to play. I have to say that this might be the best conditioned course that I have ever played at. The course has a beautiful layout that is challenging but at the same time fit the topography of the area. I told the employees that if this course was in Southern California than it would be $200 to $300 course. Great facilities and friendly staff. I would recommend for anyone to come play here because you will not be...
