Entry in the park starts at 9am, but people generally line up before to enter the park! It’s definitely one of my fav park in Maryland! It’s so scenic and a natural beauty! We entered the park around 9:30 and headed straight to the lot nearest to the cascade falls! Plenty of parking. Restrooms were near this parking lot, and they were pretty clean. It’s an amazing trail to cascade falls, properly marked and full of natural beauty. It’s good to walk, difficulty is beginner level I would say. Falls are nice but just ok, the hike included a little bit of rock scramble and crossing a stream on stepping stones, but there were plenty of small children and small dogs handling it as well as babies in bjorn/wraps. There's a suspension bridge and a nice area by the river nearby to the falls, and old stone foundations for the kids to explore. There's a bathroom facility and (full) parking lot by the bridge, but be aware there were no trashcans in sight so prepare to pack out...
