I've lived in the area for almost 4 yrs this August. This was my 1st time at this park. My 3 yr old had a ball. We meet a new playmate friend for her (mom friend for me😊). She enjoyed herself on the old fashioned metal slide. The entire area is shaded so that was a plus. Inside Patapsco Park right by the entrance. Keep driving straight for a little bit see the tires. It's $2 to get in (sometimes no one is in the ranger booth so it's free) I saw people ignoring the stop sign. Not my business so I kept it to myself. Park is very clean no trash all over the place. Jungle gyms are clean and tidy. There are separate sections for age groups. Kids all play together with older ones looking out for little ones. Environment is...

This is such a cute park your kids will love. It is a part of Patapsco State Park so there is a per care fee without a pass. There is a full park made from wood, tires, and traditional play ground equipment. It has a seasonal nature shack which even has a hallow tree the children can climb through (the shack itself is seasonal). A sensory walk for children to experience the trail ( 0.10 mile) with all their senses. The beauty of nature surrounds this park and is where youth and family groups can camp in the summer. Plenty of parking without much of walk. Park is well maintained and closes around sunset. Closing time is marked by tye entrance. My son...

Love this place. Went today 11.18.23 and it was still staffed. $2 per car for in state. Tires still look great for climbing and we've been coming for 6 yrs. My 2yr old loved it and my 10yr olds still enjoy it. People can walk or bike the trails. 2 separate playgrounds and 1 tire swing and then kind of 2 tire areas where kids can race side by side. 2 Parking area. 1at area gets filled fast but the other side of you ride the circle around is great access too. Also have some short walking trails for littles and another separate "play" explore area with sandbox areas and...

Completely shaded fun on a hot summer day! Creative, open-ended play for kids. Tires are half-buried in the ground, so you can walk/hop/run across. There's also a more typical playground with slides, etc. There's a sign at the entrance that says dogs are not allowed, so I sat with my puppy at the picnic tables at the perimeter while my kids played. A bathroom is conveniently located right next to the area. There is a fee of $2 per car. To find it, set your GPS to Patapsco State Park, Hilton area.

Good, recycled park for older kids inside the Patapsco State Park. There are a couple of playgrounds for 5-12 year-old kids, but there are no playgrounds for younger children. The tire courses are fun, but a little too tall and hard for young kids. The good thing is that young kids can get entertained easily with the surrounding nature :) There are also some picnic tables and pavilions that could be used for family get-togethers or group meet-ups.
