Nice place to start a run. Can go either West or East for miles & miles for a nice Long run or walk. Nice wide sidewalks &/or gravel/dirt trails. Close to the creek so my dog can jump in to cool off when it is warm outside & the creek is Usually Clear! Nice facilities for a outdoor gathering - covered area with lots of picnic tables, small bathrooms - only 3 toilets in women’s (& probably men’s?). Covered Sand area for kids, playground area, Big trees for shade, some Pull-up bars for some upper body strength work. Clear creek area for dogs to jump in to cool off. Drinking fountain for dogs, adults, & shorter one for kids. Drinking fountain should’ve been placed in the shade since it is silver metal & in the boiling hot sun beating down on it in the summer! Water is Luke warm or even hot. Ugh! Cold water absorbs better so this should be covered or moved to the shade, ESPECIALLY in the summer! And our HOT BURNING TEXAS summers like...

This park has a children's play area that has large dinosaur bones and dinosaur eggs that children can explore and climb on. It also has a small water splash area that looks like a large blue fish skeleton. There are trails that have signs for parents to get their children involved in nature by explaining how to see and feel around them. The park seems relatively new and there are not many trees yet, which is a little hot during the summer. The appearance is very clean and neat with restrooms, pavilions and grills. I would have given it 5 stars if there had been more...

This is a really cool park with lots of active stuff to do! The playground part is pretty small, and there are 4 swings, so if that's what you're after, try a different park. There is a really cool section with cement dinosaur eggs and a T-rex type skull made of cement, and a sand pit with big cement "fossils" to uncover. There's also a trail for walking/running/biking that runs past. This park kept my short attention span 4 year old busy for several consecutive hours. So long that we had to pull her away from...

My 1 year old and my 5 year old loved this park. There are at least 5 different play areas. There is a dinosaur bones area where kids can play and climb in dino eggs, another area with swings, an area with a small player, an area with climbing rocks that was my 5 year old favorite, and a giant sand pit where dino bones can be excavated. There were also toys there in the sand pit so my kids were very entertained and didn't want to leave when it was time. This park was also not crowded and was very nice.

Great place for any kind of activities for both adults and kids. Kids can play with sand, dig fossils, swing, climb the rocks, etc. Adults can walk, run, jog, bike along the trail. There is a creek running a the trail. Some places of the park under construction and currently closed. The parking lot is spacious.
