You can use this park to cut through to the neighborhood that is north of it. There is a small path, that is roughly laid with gravel and is pretty bumpy. Towards the end of the trail before it turns left there is a gate that wasn't locked for me but I imagine it could be. It will throw you out at Emily cove in the neighborhood north.
